Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but bubbles, and give our past a future.
The goal of the Toronto Chapter Committee of Save Ontario Shipwrecks is to promote the preservation of our local wrecks through responsible diving so that all may enjoy them. All very laudable, but we also have a lot of fun doing it through the placement of Coast Guard approved mooring buoys on unmarked wrecks, maintenance of sites and the occasional lecture.

Attention GTA Shipwreck Enthusiasts: In an effort to revitalize the Toronto Chapter of SOS and get some kind of regular meetings going, we will be looking to host a kick off meeting in early February. I would like some feedback as to where people would like to meet. Probably a weekday evening. Most successful chapters try to make their meetings a social event, so any restaurant where a group can get together and still hear a conversation is good. Lets have fun, exchange some stories and figure out what we can all contribute to maritime heritage in this region.

Past and Present Members of Save Ontario Shipwrecks Toronto Chapter,

There will be a general meeting of the chapter on February 13, 2013 at the Radison Hotel, 401 and DVP (55 Hall Crown Place) at 7:00pm. The meeting will take place in the restaurant.

All past, current or prospective members are encouraged to attend. There will be some time to socialize and discuss the Toronto Chapter and its future. If possible / practical, we will also hold the chapter AGM as is required by our by-laws.

On Tuesday May 20th, 2013 we held our May Toronto Chapter meeting which was well attended again.

The minutes are posted below. We still have a few spots in our NAS 1 Course running June 14, 15 and 16th hosted by Toronto Chapter.

The initial email has gone out making sure that our participants emails are correct. If you have any questions about NAS please contact the Chapter Chair- Dar
